Shoes that work - and don’t work - in the traditional workplace
Do you work in a business formal or business casual workplace? It’s likely if you roll into the office and the employee handbook proclaims either one of these dress standards, you should consider the shoes your wear. Here are three tips:
Keep heels 3 inches or under. Super-high heels can be gorgeous - but not at work (as always, unless you work in a creative or fashion-focused workplace).
Remember: You want co-workers, clients and management looking at your moneymaker - your face! - not at you feet, legs or other. So minimize the hardware, spikes and platforms.
Don’t wear flip flops. The end.
