Halloween in the Workplace
Do you work in an office that celebrates Halloween? Many don’t for varied and valid reasons. But some still do. The trick for dressing up in the workplace is that you need to be prepared to be professional again at the drop of a wizard’s hat. One year, my team dressed up like we were following The Grateful Dead and secured plush stuffed fish to our heads because we were Phish Heads (you know the band Phish from Vermont? People who follow them are called Phish Heads. Anyhoo…). I had forgotten that I needed to present at a large manufacturing company that day. I didn’t have a change of clothing. My hair was in braids. And I had a fish on my head. Not one of my proudest moments.
So, please, learn from me. Combine a great work look with you costume, like the above.
